What happens when you wear a dress made of flowers—and then dance in it? We don't know, and we'll find out together!
In a creation by floral designer Michael O’Neil of Designs by Nourish, JenMarie will embody the chimera—a creature of Greek mythology and a metaphor for the fantastic, the wild, and the foolish. Perhaps it is foolish to dance in something as fragile as a flower...
This performance continues JenMarie's ongoing art project, exploring the Chimera/ chimerical, begun in December 2024. The Chimera has a lion's head, goat's body, and serpent's tail. Through a serpent dance for the cycle of life and renewal, this pop-up performance celebrates the ephemeral nature of both flowers and movement. We’ll gather for one hour—then disappear...
A champagne reception will close the evening. We have reached event capacity; contact JenMarie if you would like to be added to the waitlist hello@jenmarielandig.com.

Fresh Waters
JenMarie premiered a new dance performance alongside the percussionist Lefteris Aggouridakis and singer Christiana Papaya in September 2024. The performance responds to the Greek city of Trikala where the residency is located. The city is named in tribute to Trikke, the daughter of the Peneus river god in ancient Greek mythology. JenMarie's dance focuses on the concept of fresh waters–a resource to be filled, emptied, shared–to connect the site of Trikala to an Afro-Brazilian dance tradition honoring Oxum, the Candomblé deity of water and love.
Choreography by Rachel Hernandez.
Mindful Movement
In her mindful movement workshops, JenMarie explores the questions raised in this video clip. She blends mindfulness techniques, gentle movement informed by anatomy and stretching-fitness, and the natural expression of dance.
"I loved how inclusive and accessible everything was and how these teachings could be catered to anyone with any experience level and/or ability! You were absolutely wonderful; so gentle, considerate, vulnerable, and knowledgeable. You created a space of warmth and safety to feel all the feelings. I am excited to continue thinking about the class concepts and prompts. Thank you!" - Camry R
Embodied (E)motions
View JenMarie’s video installation in the shop.
In JenMarie's debut video installation, through aerial, flamenco, and moments of stillness, she explores the question: how can we more deeply listen to our body and understand the connection between experience-emotions-motion by using the physical body to heal what is both visible and invisible - including the (metaphysical/spiritual) heart?
“My mind was buzzing after I saw your video. There must have been a moment as you’re suspended in the air that you realized you had to trust yourself 100%, and that’s so deep and it’s everything in life! I admit the scene of you lying on the floor surrounded by gold choked me up a little, I could see in your face a sense of peace and happiness; it was so beautiful.” - Elizabeth W
